Choose by the job
The printer should fit what you want to make.
Start with the need, then compare brands and models. Fastest, newest, or most expensive is not automatically the best fit.
Everyday colorful printing
PLA, PETG, gifts, school projects, signs, and approachable multicolor work often fit an open-frame A-series conversation.
Enclosed material work
When temperature control and tougher material behavior matter, start with an enclosed-machine comparison.
Multicolor and support workflows
Count the colors, understand purge tradeoffs, and decide whether support material is part of the reason for choosing an AMS path.
Large or unusual jobs
