The six-step path
- Open makerworld.com/makerlab and sign in.
- Choose a photo-to-3D tool such as Relief Sculpture or Make My Statue.
- Upload the clearest version of the image.
- Adjust size, depth, angle, and detail while watching the preview.
- Generate and download the printable model.
- Open it in a slicer and confirm the final size.
Photo checklist
- Use even lighting, a simple background, sharp focus, and a clear view.
- For a statue, include the whole body without cropped hands, feet, or accessories.
- Use front-facing photos with strong contrast for reliefs.
Before you print
- Inspect several angles for merged fingers, missing detail, or floating pieces.
- Increase final size when small details need more room to print.
- Keep the original photo and generated project together for future adjustments.
